DOMCON LA 2023 COVID-19 Policy
Currently DomCon LA, is NOT requiring Covid vaccination or requiring masking.

We do advise everyone to be fully vaccinated and to wear a mask when in large, social gatherings.

Per the LA county health department we are no longer able to require masks for large events at this time.

We have contracted out with the LA County health department to provide free Covid booster vaccinations, as well as flu vaccinations at our DomCon LA Event.

Individuals who are considered high risk for complications due to COVID-19, such as the elderly and people with pre-existing health conditions should maintain an elevated level of protection by avoiding large and/or crowded gatherings, considering face coverings in public, and staying up to date on vaccinations.

We here at DomCon Thank You for your assistance, while we do our best to bring you a safe and fun event.

COVID-19 RESOURCES

YOU MUST BRING YOUR VACCINATION CARD WITH YOU OR A CLEAR DIGITAL PHOTO OF IT.

OR A

Digital Covid-19 Record

Here are some helpful links to get your Digital Vaccination Record:

All the Above are free for you to use.
One of the best ones that we have found is Clear, as it is the Last on our list but it is one of the best, it links to most all major and minor Health Care facilities to pull records for you, or you can upload a photo of your vaccine card and it will validate you to have a digital pass for free.

We also understand that there are those who are not able to have the vaccine for medical reasons, so there will be a medical exemption with documentation from a licensed medical professional. Please note providing false information and false documentation will result in you being banned from our events and we comply with law enforcement for falsified medical record documentation "Any person who alters or modifies the medical record of any person, with fraudulent intent, or who, with fraudulent intent, creates any false medical record, is guilty of a misdemeanor. Ca. Pen. Code § 471.5" (More information below) The attendees with an exemption would need to wear a facemask at all times at DomCon. We will use the latest guidance from Local Department of Public Health officials to determine whether all vaccinated attendees would also need to wear a mask.

Please be advised, if you are seeking a medical exemption from the COVID-19 vaccine, you will need to provide proof of a Negative COVID-19 test taken within 24 hours of the event. You may also be asked during the event to re-test and provide that proof to our staff within 12 hours, or you will be asked to leave and your registration and tickets will be voided with no credit or refund given.

Tests that are approved:

  • Lab test (PCR/ NAAT)
  • Rapid-result (PCR)
  • RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel Test - NAAT
  • Rapid Point-of-Care (POC) - NAAT (ID NOW)

We will NOT accept ANY Rapid-result (antigen) test provided.

Testing Locations we know & trust:

  1. The specific COVID-19 vaccine for which the exemption is requested.
  2. A written statement signed by a licensed, treating medical provider (MD, DO, NP, PA), nurse practitioner (NP), or physician’s assistant (PA). The signed statement must include the practice location address, telephone number, fax number, signing provider’s license number, and state or country (if outside the U.S.) where the licensed medical provider practices.
  3. The Patients First Name, Middle Initial (if available), Last Name.

No Digital exemptions will be allowed.

All exemptions will need to be printed and signed by the provider with all of the above information.
Without the items above the Exemption is invalid and will not be enforced.

For purposes of this protocol, people are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 2 weeks after they have received the second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), or at least 2 weeks after they have received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson and Johnson [J&J]/Janssen).

Fully vaccinated, however is not the same as optimally protected. To be optimally protected, a person needs to get a booster shot when and if eligible. (Reference)

Our Advisement is to make sure you are "Vaccinated & Boosted"
